Well it’s been a bit over a week after finally receiving my Samsung Series 5 Chromebook, and it’s about time to post my initial impressions.

I wish I could use my NFC equipped Nexus S as a swipe card to gain entry to my apartment building and authorise use of the elevator, instead of having to carry a dedicated card. I also wish I could use the same technology to enter my work building without having to carry that card too.
While we aren’t quite there yet (and lets face it – Australia will be one of the last in the Western world to actually receive and actively use such tech), there are advances in other areas – like wallets. Read more...
