I bought a Telstra branded Galaxy Tab around a month or so ago, back when they were clearing stock to make way for their imminent Xoom release, all for the juicy unlocked price of $349. Despite the epic price which places it in budget phone territory (even though it’s up there with the Nexus S hardware wise), the rom which comes with it from the factory (JJ3) is, in a word: rubbish. It’s slow, it’s jerky and it’s just plain annoying. Even the status bar dropdown skips frames when rendering. It’s enough to make your eyes bleed.
